RPN Exam / CPNRE Goes Online in 2016

The College of Nurses of Ontario is pleased to announce that the practical nursing regulatory authorities have formally agreed to implement computer-based testing for delivering the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) in 2016.

Technology is playing an enhanced role in the delivery of registration testing. As regulators, we want to be proactive and take advantage of opportunities offered by technology. Computer-based testing will allow candidates to take the CPNRE on a computer in a secure test centre.

We are very excited to work with other practical nursing regulators from across Canada to make this a successful undertaking for those taking the CPNRE and entering the profession.
